Egyptian AKM Type II Transitional Bayonet 

Used for the 7.63x39mm Maadi Rifle

The Maadi Rifle was the Egyptian's variant of the AKM rifle produced in the 1960s

Handles were produced in 3 different colours:

Black

Brown

Dark Plum

Cross between the type I Scabbard and type II bayonet

These Bayonets were not marked but an easy way to spot an Egyptian bayonet is the Emerald green retention strap, and the excess glue on the crosspiece and pommel.
